Lake District
by Adventure Solos
OVERVIEW
Day Hikes by Adventure Solos are a great way to start meeting new people and making new friends. They're also a perfect way to get to know us if you're interested in our other solo-friendly adventures.
We set a fairly slow and steady pace for these walks, making them social and inclusive events.
All walks are lead by an Adventure Solos host that is also a qualified Mountain Leader and first aider (usually Chris from Adventure Solos).
Book this hike here now or find out more below.
DESCRIPTION
We walk around two of the Lake District lakes, Grasmere ('mere' being a body of water) and Rydal Water on this circular walk. And of course we pop into the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop on our way back, before ending the walk at a beautify cosy pub in the Lake District.
The walk is fairly flat and easy going. It is around 5 miles (8km) long and gently meanders around and above the lakes. We often see cuckoos, tame robins and red squirrels along the way.
The walk is very achievable within 4 hours. We walk at a steady pace for this hike; a low/moderate level of fitness will suffice.
Book your spot on this walk now for just £29.99 here.
